About A Bag for Flo

We are a non-profit community project who aim to support those facing period poverty with free period products.

In the UK, nearly one in five people who menstruate (21%) have struggled to buy menstrual products in the last year, for themselves and/or a dependent.*  Not having access to a safe and hygienic way to deal with menstruation can have profound consequences, particularly on a person's education.

Currently limited support is available locally through food bank referrals. These however, only allow for up to five referrals per year, which is not enough. This is how the idea of A Bag for Flo was created.

How can we help?

A bag for Flo is non-profit charitable organisation that support Daventry and surrounding areas by providing non-medicinal menstrual packs for people who are facing period poverty. Our service is free and confidential.
